2024 - 2025 season
Our 10th season programming aims to assemble a balance between pieces that continue to delight our audience and works that challenge our dancers. As our love of dance is a form of storytelling, this upcoming season will showcase how movement speaks a narrative, engaging our audience in a unique way.
November 21 – 23
Lake Area Ballet Theatre will kick off the Holiday Season with its annual performance of The Nutcracker, performed by over 125 local dancers from Lake Charles Dance Academy, LABT’s company dancers, and professional dancers throughout the United States.
Join us in seeing this classic Christmas tale and experience the incredible local talent, the stunning sets and costumes, and the iconic score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

One Show – Two Ballets
Lake Area Ballet Theatre’s Company dancers will perform Swan Lake along with Peter and the Wolf at the Rosa Hart Theatre for Southwest Louisiana audience members to enjoy.
